If you have any questions regarding a timepiece, you may call us Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. We are happy to answer any queries you may have. If you place an order online, we will send you a confirmation email letting you know we’ve set your item(s) aside for you. Once shipped, we send another email with tracking information.
We time all watches for at least 24 hours before we ship. We custom-fit many of our watch straps to fit your wrist – this sometimes may take a few days, so please keep this in mind when ordering.
All of our watches are in running condition. Our watches are vintage; most are pre-owned; therefore we cannot guarantee previous work on the watch, or that all components of the watch are original. We do clean, oil and service our pieces, and our work is done by master watchmakers. We note every flaw we can in our descriptions. We take a great deal of pride in our reputation and strive to give accurate descriptions and clear photographs of each timepiece. Please ask as many questions as you wish BEFORE buying; while we have a return policy, no one likes returns.
PAYMENT: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. You may call us at (813) 839-5984 with your credit card number and we will process the order immediately, shipping your item usually within 24 to 48 hours. We also accept PayPal payments via PayPal.com, money orders and checks. If paying by check, please note that we will hold the item for seven (7) days until the check clears. Payment must be received within seven (7) business days of our confirmation email to you or your order will be returned to stock.
Please note, some orders may need more time to process; if this is the case, you will be contacted and given a time frame as to when your order will be shipped.
SHIPPING INFORMATION: Items are usually sent to you within 48 hours of receipt/clearance of payment. We ship USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail with within the United States, and Federal Express for international buyers. We are happy to follow special shipping instructions (i.e. overnight, etc.) if they are within our capability; however, customers are responsible for additional charges, if incurred.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: International buyers may pay by credit card through our secure credit card server or by calling us. We also accept wire transfer. Or, if one wishes, credit card numbers may be sent over two separate emails. Credit card funds will guarantee shipment within 48 hours. We ship all overseas packages via Federal Express and fully insured. Buyers are responsible for customs duties required by your country. We will not falsify paperwork.
Unfortunately, there is a prohibitive customs duty on the export of alligator and crocodile bands. We are glad to accommodate our international buyers on such bands, but the charges may be prohibitive. This does not apply to pigskin, leather and cloth bands. All prices quoted are in U.S. dollars.
LAYAWAY POLICY: We do accept layaway payments, upon occasion. We require 50 percent down and the balance to be paid within 60 days, unless pre-arranged with us. Layaway items cannot be returned for refunds; only for store credit, no exceptions.
All items remain the property of Strickland Vintage Watches until paid for in full.
RETURN POLICY: You may return an item within three (3) days of receiving it, provided you call or email us within three (3) days of receiving the item letting us know you plan to return it. We ship all of our items with delivery confirmation for this purpose. There are no C.O.D. or “on approval” orders.
Shipping charges back to us are the responsibility of the customer and there will be a 20% restocking fee on all items. Any item packaged or shipped incorrectly, or uninsured, will be the responsibility of the customer if damaged or lost in transit. Shipping and insurance charges to you are NOT refundable.
If you are an international buyer and wish to return an item, contact us regarding special instructions on export papers and shipping instructions. Items may not be returned for any reason after this three day period, instead a credit will be applied to your account so that you may select another item.
